This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Furalto website (furalto.com), our showroom and consultation services, checkout, accounts, and related applications (collectively, the “Website” or “Services”). The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Furalto. “You” and “User” refer to you as a visitor or customer. “Personal Information” means information that identifies you or can be used to contact you, such as name, phone number, email address, and data tied to that information.

• This policy does not apply to third-party websites we may link to, or to how independent businesses (other than our contracted processors) use data you give them directly.
• We have implemented reasonable security practices commensurate with the information we protect and the nature of our business. Because of inherent internet risks, we cannot warrant complete security of every transmission.
• By using the Website you agree to this Privacy Policy and consent to collection, use, processing, and sharing of Personal Information as described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
• Our Terms & Conditions form part of your use of the Website and should be read with this policy.

Information we collect and how we use it

We collect, receive, and store Personal Information you provide and information generated through your use of the Services. We use commercially reasonable efforts to limit collection to what is needed for the purposes below. If we wish to use information for a new purpose, we will seek consent where required.

• To enable you to browse, configure, order, pay for, and receive furniture and related services.
• To promote a safe service, understand interest in products, inform you of offers you have opted into, troubleshoot problems, and customise experience.
• To detect and protect against error, fraud, and other criminal activity; to collect amounts due; and to enforce our terms.
• You may choose not to provide certain information; that may restrict registration, checkout, or some features.
• If you connect a third-party account and authorise it, some content from that account may be transmitted to us and will be covered by this policy.

Account information

If you create an account, we ask for Personal Information such as name, email address, and mobile number. We may store addresses, appointment notes, wishlist or cart data, and order history associated with your account.

• We use your email for order and account updates, and for newsletters only if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails.
• We may use your mobile number for transaction alerts, delivery updates, and service SMS. You can ask us to stop non-essential SMS via Contact Us.
• Furalto does not sell your Personal Information to third parties for their independent marketing.
• You may request erasure of information you provided, including Personal Information. Where legally allowed, we will delete stored information from our systems, except records we must retain for tax, dispute, or legal purposes.

Checkout & payment information

When you pay through our checkout, we and our payment partner (including Razorpay Software Private Limited and its banks, card networks, and UPI providers) may process address, mobile number, email, and payment-instrument details as needed to complete the transaction.

• Full card numbers and similar credentials are handled by the payment partner; we typically retain payment references, status, and last-four or tokenised identifiers as needed for orders and support.
• Information is shared with the payment partner and, where required, with banks or regulators to process payment, prevent fraud, and meet KYC or RBI-related obligations applicable to the payment rail.
• Furalto is not responsible for misuse of information by a third party after you have independently shared it with them outside our checkout.

Usage, device & activity data

We record information relating to your use of the Website, such as searches, pages viewed, browser type, IP address, approximate location, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamps.

• We use this to administer the Website, improve security, and provide service.
• We may use this information in aggregate for statistical analysis of interest and use. You cannot be identified from aggregate reports alone.

Cookies

We send cookies to your device to uniquely identify your browser and improve service quality. We may use session cookies (which expire when you close the browser) and persistent cookies (which remain until you delete them). Persistent cookies can be removed via your browser settings.

• Delivery, installation, and white-glove logistics partners.

• Affiliates or a company that acquires Furalto or its assets, who must honour this policy or equivalent protections.
• Disclosure in good faith where reasonably necessary to address suspected illegal activity; enforce Terms or this policy; comply with a warrant, summons, statute, or court order; or protect our rights, users, or the public. We are not required to contest the validity of a lawful government request.
• Aggregate, non-identifying statistics may be shared with partners such as advertisers or distributors (for example, how many users saw a campaign).

Links to other sites, marks, or services are for convenience and are not an endorsement. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We suggest you read their policies before sharing information with them.

Your access & choices

If you have an account, you can update some Personal Information and preferences in Account. You may also contact us to access, correct, or request deletion or restriction of Personal Information, subject to law.

• Keep your email and phone current so we can reach you about orders and policy updates.
• If you do not wish us to use your information in a new way after a policy change, notify us and we can deactivate your account where feasible.
• Continued use of the Website after a posted change means you acknowledge the updated policy.

Security

Accounts are password protected. We use industry-standard measures to protect Personal Information in our databases and limit access to employees and contractors who need it for their role (for example customer care).

• You acknowledge that we are not responsible for information intercepted on the internet, and you release us from claims arising from unauthorised use of intercepted information, to the extent permitted by law.

Enforcement

We may use information we collect (including Personal Information) to investigate, enforce, and apply our Terms and this Privacy Policy.

Complaints & grievance redressal

If you write to us with feedback, a complaint, or a question, we will keep the Personal Information and content you send so we can respond. For Furalto storefront, orders, and studio data, contact us first. For payment-checkout processing by Razorpay, you may also use Razorpay’s DPO, nodal officer, and grievance portal.
