Modular sofa & oak coffee table
We almost bought a cheaper sofa online and I’m glad we didn’t. The depth is right for how we actually sit — legs up, laptop, kids climbing on. Six months in, the cushions still hold their shape. That was the whole reason we spent the money.

Dining table & eight chairs (trade)
I’m an architect, so I’m picky about joinery. The dining table we specified for a client in Whitefield arrived with clean mitres and the stain matched the sample — which almost never happens. I’ve put Furalto on two more projects since.
Upholstered bed & nightstands
Delivery day was the part I was nervous about — third-floor flat, narrow stairs. The team measured everything twice, wrapped the bed like it was glass, and didn’t leave scuffs on the walls. The bed itself is solid. We sleep better; that’s not marketing, it’s true.
Trade programme · multiple residences
I use Furalto for clients who want something calm, not trendy. The fabric library is honest — what you see in the showroom is what shows up on site. Lead times are long, but they communicate. I’d rather wait than replace something in two years.
Outdoor lounge set
Our terrace gets rain sideways in the monsoon. The teak set we bought last year greyed a little, as teak should, but nothing warped or rusted. We wipe it down and keep using it. That’s all I wanted — furniture that doesn’t become a project.
Custom bath vanity
The bathroom vanity was a custom width for an old flat. They didn’t push a standard size. The lacquer is still even after a humid summer. Small thing, but every morning I notice it.
Custom sofa
We walked into the showroom with a sketch on my phone. They didn’t laugh. Eight weeks later we had a sofa in the weave we picked, seat depth adjusted by 4 cm. It cost more than we planned. We still don’t regret it.
Living room seating & side tables
No one hovered. We sat on three sofas, compared arms, and left without buying that day. Came back a week later. That patience is rare. The pieces we chose still feel right a year on — nothing ‘dated’ yet, which was my fear with trendy stores.
